Common questions

• How do I use it? Open the app and press the big button. A calming scene begins. Tap anywhere on the screen when you’re ready to finish.
• How do I change the button’s color or word? Tap the small gear in the top-right corner. There you can set the button’s color, change its word (or remove the words entirely), and choose your scene and sounds.
• How do I pick what I see and hear? In settings, choose a scene under “What you’ll see and hear”: Ocean Waves, Forest Birds, Gentle Rain, Surprise Me, Nature Photos, or My Photos. Ocean and birds can use either a real recording or a softer generated version under “Sound style.”
• Why does it ask for my photos? Only if you choose the “My Photos” scene. Clear then shows your own nature photos while you relax. They are chosen on your device and never leave your phone. You can say no and use the built-in photos instead.
• My Photos shows the built-in pictures instead of mine. That happens if photo access wasn’t granted, or no nature photos were found. Allow access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Clear (choose Full Access), then open the My Photos scene again.
• How do I change the affirmations? Gear → Affirmations → Edit affirmations. Tap any line to reword it, swipe to delete, drag to reorder, or add your own. “Restore the original affirmations” brings back the defaults.
• The sound isn’t playing. Make sure your volume is up. Clear plays even when the silent switch is on, so check the side volume buttons.
• Why did the app icon change color? The app icon follows the button color you choose, so your home screen matches your calm.
